I intend to continue posting here on my blog as well ... but the Facebook page gives me an opportunity to get statistical feedback on followers and visits! It's been exciting to see 75 likes and 116 visitors there since Friday afternoon late! These numbers are as of Monday 1/6/2014 at 3:00 p.m. while I'm writing this post! Here's hoping that by Wednesday, when you're reading it, there will be more.
During the Spring of 2012 I took a Designer training course (not necessarily because I wanted to be a designer, but ... it was a great learning experience for me! And that's what life is about I think!) Part of that class was designing four kits! One was done before we started, and there are things that I like about what I did in that kit, like the background paper on my cover for my new FB page (see photo above), but most of that kit ... well, no, it was crude at best! The first kit we made in class was done with a color palette that just did not appeal to me at all! Again, do I like it? ... not so much!
Project 3 allowed us to choose our own theme and color palette! I called my kit
IN GOD'S GARDEN
and I've decided to share pieces of that kit with my readers on the FB page. Each Wednesday for the rest of January, you will find pieces of my kit posted as freebies on my FB PAGE . Come join me there, and collect my garden kit! You don't have to "like" anything to get the kit pieces. There will be a direct download link in the text on my page (I haven't "earned" the FAN FREEBIE app for FB yet!) But I would appreciate it if you would take a look around and see the work that I am doing for my favorite designers! If you see something you like, just click away ... I will appreciate the feedback!
Here is a preview of my first giveaway from IN GOD'S GARDEN
Wednesday will be my personal freebie day at my FB page, but I'll be back here on Friday with my next Designer Freebie! See you soon!
