New from Sweet Digi Scraps

Sweet Digi Scraps is quickly becoming one of my favorite designers to work with ... her kits are just the right amount of shabby, but they also have a elegance about them!  I feel so fortunate to be one of her Creative Sweeties!  She seems to work about the same "warp speed" as me!  Since joining her CT on August 18m  I have created 28 promotional  layouts with her product!  Most are with new product she has released, but some are older kits she will be moving into a BRAND NEW STORE on October 1.  SHHH!  It's still a "secret!" (Yeah, right!???)

Her latest is a collab with ETC by Danyale called

and what a beauty it is!  I used it to feature some butterflies in the Rainforest Pavilion at Moody Gardens in Galveston (from our trip last weekend!)  I really love this color palette!

On the same day that Fierce Beauty was released, Sweet Digi Scraps had another release

I made by layout before Liz had the template pack ready, so I think I will have to go do another layout with this kit, and use here fabulous templates, too!  Here's the original layout I did for FALLIN' 4 YOU

This layout features a template from Digital Designs by Amber Morrison called ELEMENTARY

Be back soon with another layout!

In preparation for opening a new store, Sweet Digi Scraps has re-released some older kits.  One that I really loved is a series called

Here is Chase in the Growing Up Boy layout I did - he is such a happy boy!

and sweet Gaby in GROWING UP GIRL

I'll be back soon with a few more kits from Sweet Digi Scraps and promotional layouts that I have done for them - they are part of the GRAND OPENING at the new store I talked about earlier in this post!

My LadyBug Promotional work for BSS in September

I worked with 3 Designers at Berry Sweet Scraps during September ...

First was my assigned designer:  Designs by Stina.  I chose to work with her

I loved the Autumn colors in MADAME BUTTERFLY (there are actually 3 kits in this collection!)

My choice designer was Moos Scraps and I chose

Her color palette was perfect from my photos of the waterlily garden at Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin, TX

I also chose to work with an additional designer TootyPup Scraps.  I chose her beautiful kit

MUSIC OF THE NIGHT

inspired by the musical The Phantom of the Opera

The red roses and the romantic mood of this kit made it the perfect choice to highlight a photo from my niece Julie and Joe's wedding  - it was 10 years ago yesterday!  It's amazing how quickly that time has flown by!

Another requirement for being a Lady Bug is to be active on the Forum by participating in the Challenges each month.  Once again for September I got all 8 of the challenges done!  Here's what I did for the BSS September Challenges.

Jen C Designs latest kit is called

Be sure to check out Jen's special promotion for the ADD ON kits - you can find it on The Collection

This kit was PERFECT TIMING for me as yesterday (9/28/2012) was Julie and Joe's 10th Anniversary!  It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years already!  Here's my anniversary present I made for them! (Delivered initially viable Facebook, but shhh!!! - it's a surprise for Christmas too!)

I used the collection, red add on, and green add on!  This layout also features a template from the latest product from Digital Designs by Amber Morrison called

Jen C Designs has been re-releasing some older product at her new stores, so I've had a chance to work with some kits that she produced before I joined her Creative Team!

Blake was just checking to see if the light REALLY goes out (my father would have instigated this little activity if he were around - sounds just like him!)

Photo from Blake's 5th Birthday Party - yes, I know he's 6 now (but I didn't make it to the 6th birthday party!)

CHILD'S PLAY

Mischievous little Chase - no, Mom, I didn't make this mess in the living room!

Here's Blake, the PUNKIN-HEAD at a Fall Festival in Kyle in October 2011 (about 8 days after Chase was born!)

SUMMER NIGHTS

(This one is quickly becoming a GO-TO FAVORITE for Fall pictures, especially sunsets!)

Sunset on 8 Mile Rd (yes, that's really the name of the road) in Galveston Texas - Sept 23, 2011

Here's the same place - on 8 Mile Road on 9/22/2012 - just a year later.  Can you see the difference in the scene.  (I did this one for the Word Art Challenge at Ginger Scraps this week)

Like I said, this is becoming a GO-TO FAV KIT for me - here's a layout that I did with SUMMER NIGHTS and Digital Designs by Amber Morrison newest template pack called WELL ROUNDED (You can see it above - I used it for my I DO layout too!)
