True North Scraps and Keystone Scraps have a fabulous kit called
... designed to be a train kit, but I have found it very versatile for other things as well!
In my attempt to stay TRUE to the theme, here is my layout with ON THE RIGHT TRACK,
But then I had a little fun thinking "outside the box" with this beautiful kit. For the Family History challenge in August at Scrap-N-Pieces, we had to highlight a school in our history, so I did this layout about Avenue D School in Killeen, TX. My dad went to school there, my mom graduated from high school from this building, and also worked there. Both my sister Sandy and I attended school at this building for 6 years each. poki 1956 - 1962, Sandy 1959 - 1965. The building closed as an active school in 1979, and is now the Killeen City Hall!
True North Scraps was the Designer of the Month for the last half of August, and provided a template challenge for us all to participate. Once again, I used this gorgeous kit for a NON-THEMED layout
The photo was taken at the church following the baptism of Chase Anthony Tobias, our youngest family member!
Scrap - N- Pieces September template challenge gave me another opportunity to work with True North Scraps portion of the ON THE RIGHT TRACK kit
I'm sure these butterfly pictures will not surprise Dawna at all!
True North Scraps also created a paper pack and an alpha for the Scrap-n-Pieces "Bits and Pieces" sale for September - the theme was "toys" and the color palette was bright and cheery! Here is True North Scraps kit called
TOYFUL
Here's my layout with my sweet boy Chase
I'll be back soon with more catch-up posts! I still have a long list to catch up on!!!
