Friday Favorite from True North Scraps - 8/29/2014

This is our final Friday Favorite and freebie from the North Stars, as by now the word is out that Dawna of True North Scraps is retiring from Designing.  All her stores are on sale until they close on August 31,2014.  poki04 has picked our final Friday favorite, Fresh as a Daisy. The beautiful greens of this kit remind me of the first little sprouts poking through the dirt, the trees leafing out, grass coming back to life, and just an overall freshness. The Elements pack has 42 elements including plenty of daisies and there are even an adorable little girl and boy gnome to watch over your layouts. The gorgeous papers are so fresh and outdoorsy.  You will have trouble deciding which ones you want to use in your LO!  Below the previews poki04 has a beautiful freebie for you on her blog.

TUESDAY FLASHBACK - True North Scraps PINK LEMONADE

Did you have a lemonade stand when you were a child or do your children have one? This week's flashback is to a simpler time, and even some great memories of our childhood.  PINK LEMONADE  reminds me of sitting on the curb behind my lemonade stand in the summer.  Even though my sister and I drank most of our profits, we still loved sitting out there, and I can still remember that great feeling I got when I did sell a glass of  lemonade. PINK LEMONADE by True North Scraps has 35 elements, 12 papers and a lowercase alpha included!

FRIDAY FAVORITE - True North Scraps WHISPER

This week's Friday favorite is WHISPER  picked by North Star Dawn. Soft and delicate.  Vintage.  Those are words I'd use to describe this kit.   If you like the romantic look, have some photos of the kids dressed up in their Easter finest, or know a sweet newborn baby, you need this kit.  Outdoor wedding season is coming up.  This kit would be perfect for something like that!  As you can tell from the layouts that the North Stars made, this kit is amazingly versatile and makes for some stunning pages.  Below the Preview you will find a freebie that North Star Dawn has created using WHISPER.
