My latest digi project

I did this layout for the Radioactive (font) Challenge at DSDI using Jen C Designs WINTER'S DAY kit - one of my favorite kits from Jen!

pictured are my silly nieces and nephews hanging out in the SNOW on Christmas Eve 2009!  There wasn't even enough snow that day to cover the ground but it was SO cold!  I did NOT take these pictures ... someone else did, and I have them in my Blake collection for 2009.  Cute!

I've done several other challenges at DSDI this month - Here is one that I did for "Can You Dig It" (advertisement inspiration).  I used Jen C Designs COUNTING DOWN and a template from Craft-tastrophic Designs SQUARED TOO for this layout. I love how it turned out!

Another challenge that I regularly participate in is MADE IN THE SHADE. (template challenge) This month the hostess is Giggly Polka Dots (I'm on her CT so you will see her work a lot from me) and I love how the template cuts the photo into those irregular trapezoids!  If you are a member of DSDI you can get the template for FREE at the DSDI store.  Go pick it up and join the fun!

The photo is one of my favorites of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in Buxton NC.  I used Melly Scraps THIS IS ME kit, (Melly is a Pink Lady at DSDI but not currently in the store - hope she will be back!)

Another fun challenge at DSDI this month is called THE WORKS - and there is a free mini kit from Marie H Designs who is a new/old designer at DSDI (she previously sold at DSDI under a different design name)

Of course, the "beautiful people" in the layout are my niece Julie and her husband Joe - photo taken Dec 24, 2010 at my mom's house!  The color in this layout is SO NOT ME, but I enjoyed working with the kit.  Go check out the free mini kit in the DSDI forum

I will continue to add to this post as I create more layouts for the DSDI December challenges!
