Designer Freebie 8/10/2015

I had the pleasure of collaborating with Digi Deborah Designs to create additional product for her popular kit called

CELEBRATE TREES

This turned out to be a MEGA BUNDLE - Be sure to visit pages 6, 7 and 8 of the Digi Deborah Designs store at My Memories to see all of this fabulous collaboration!

After working for a couple of months on a luncheon at my church with the theme "Deeply Rooted ... and being made new!" I have discovered a fascination for trees! Here's a layout that I created using some of the product for CELEBRATE TREES (STACKED PAPERS, CLUSTERS and ELEMENTS). The tree in this photo is truly DEEPLY ROOTED in Central Texas ... it is estimated at about 300 years old, and stands on our property just North of our new church!

I used some elements from the MEGA BUNDLE to create a freebie cluster (not already included in my cluster package ... )

Check Projects by poki FB page today 8/5/2015 for my latest collection of THIS & THAT ... today I have some buttons that I made from scratch.

The buttons match the color palette of Digi Deborah Designs VINTAGE STASH - SUMMER which is new in her store at My Memories (it just started posting on 8/3/2015, so it may take several days for all of the product to start showing up there!)

Designer freebie - 8/3/2015

Hello! It's August already! I can hardly believe how quickly 2015 is passing by! As always, I am staying busy with digital art production and promotion! And I love what I do for my favorite designers.

One of those absolute favorite designers is Alexis Design Studio! She has an amazing talent (I should say "they" - it's two digital friends of mine, one in Texas and one in New York) The latest kit for Alexis Design Studio is called

SEASIDE SOLACE

The title grabbed my attention immediately! I love anything related to the ocean ... I have fond memories of two weeks spent in the North Carolina Outer Banks, and hope to return there again someday! I hear the siren's song so clearly ... I want to return to the ocean, to walk by the sea! My life seems so much more peaceful there by the ocean's roaring tide!

My layout features a photo of that roaring sea! My photo solicits memories of the sounds, sights, smells, touch and taste of the ocean ... I'm almost there when I work with these photos I've taken!

The quote on the layout is from Jacque Yves Costeau ... and speaks exactly to how I feel about the ocean! "The sea, once it casts its spell, holds you in its net of wonder forever!"

And here's my freebie ... I just arranged all the elements of my layout into a little more compact format as a wordart cluster . I hope you will enjoy it!

You can collect the freebie HERE

Be sure to stop over at Alexis Design Studio store at The Digi Chick, to check out SEASIDE SOLACE and all of the other wonderful products there! ADS has certainly helped me define my style of scrapbooking. I'm sure you will find some wonderful inspiration there as well!
