Happy 4th of July to all my friends in the United States!  I recently worked with a kit from Clooney & Me Designs called

I used it to featured some photos I took at the Belton, Texas 4th of July parade.  This parade had it's beginning in 1919, and has graced the streets of Belton, Texas almost every year since then!  This parade is a BIG DEAL in our little town each July!

50 NIFTY collection 7/1/2015

Today I will begin my 50 NIFTY collection!  Back in the day, when I was an elementary school music teacher, we often sang a song for patriotic concerts called "50 Nifty United States".  The classroom teachers loved me ... the children memorized the 50 states in alphabetical order!   Often when I meet one of my former students, they remind me of that memorable song!    I ran across some CU state shapes recently, and thus was born 50 NIFTY collection for July 2015.

Today I have an overlay for you - in 3 parts:  complete sheet, background stacked paper, and states overlay (in alphabetical order of course ... I have them memorized that way!)

I hope you will enjoy my 50 NIFTY collection in July!  Visit Projects by poki FB page to collect all the 50 NIFTY collection freebies this month!
