Today's Designer freebie features Ginger's Scraps N Pixels

MANEIDO 

(which is Japanese for "mermaid")

I enjoyed creating a layout featuring Sirena (a folk tale Indian mermaid!)  The bronze statue was created by Salado artist Troy Kelley, and sits regally beside the creek in Pace Memorial Park, Salado, Texas - reminding us of a time long ago filled with "magic!"  Both the heroine and her bronze likeness have endured interesting times.  Read about Sirena HERE   After the bronze Sirena and her catfish were damaged in a flood in 2010, she was recast and given a spot on higher ground!  And the "magic" continues ...

I found the kit easy to work with other photos from my archive - like this favorite of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.

Ginger's page masks are fabulous ... I love the effect that it had on my lighthouse photo!

Today's Designer freebie is the corner cluster from the lighthouse layout.  It was designed to tuck neatly into the bottom left corner!
